La Inteligencia Artificial Generativa (IAGen) ha sido identificada por algunos expertos como una de las tecnologías más disruptivas de nuestros tiempos. Su potencial para crear textos, imágenes, vídeos y sonidos, casi imitando a creaciones hechas por humanos, representa un cambio de paradigma, que sin duda está impactando e impactará distintos aspectos del ámbito profesional y laboral.
Aun cuando la IAGen proporciona diversas ventajas, también cuenta con limitaciones que conllevan algunos riesgos asociados, por lo que es importante adquirir los conocimientos, habilidades, y actitudes, necesarios para usarla de manera responsable.
El curso "Inteligencia Artificial Generativa (IAGen): Fundamentos para la función pública de América Latina y el Caribe” tiene por objetivo contribuir a desarrollar los conocimientos fundamentales para utilizar la IAGen de manera segura y responsable en el contexto de la función pública.
El curso destaca la importancia de utilizar esta tecnología, considerando su vertiginosa penetración en todas las áreas, su rápida y continua evolución, y su pronosticada permanencia a futuro. Por otra parte, y como fin principal, pretende sensibilizar a quienes ejercen funciones públicas, acerca de la necesidad de utilizarla de manera crítica, reconociendo sus potencialidades, pero también sus limitaciones y riesgos, y sobre todo, asegurando su uso ético, a fin de preservar la igualdad, equidad, diversidad, confidencialidad, seguridad y privacidad de datos, así como el respeto a los derechos humanos.
Para ello, en este curso identificarás las características de funcionamiento de la IAGen; así como las ventajas, limitaciones y riesgos derivados de ellas; y, reconocerás las consideraciones para su uso seguro y responsable. A través de la práctica guiada de interacciones (prompts), adquirirás las bases para utilizar esta tecnología en tu contexto de trabajo.

The best understanding of digital transformation is adopting business processes and practices to help the organization compete effectively in an increasingly digital world.
This definition of digital transformation has two important implications for managers: First, it means that digital transformation is fundamentally about how your business responds to digital trends that are occurring whether or not you initiated them, like them, or want them.
Second, it means that how an organization implements technology is only a small part of digital transformation. In cases where digital transformation does involve implementing new technologies, the technology is only part of the story.
The digital transformation requires that institutions and all its workflows and org charts be transformed in order to build and sustain digital services. Thus, there is a clear need to provide capacity building to all stakeholders in various areas associated to the digital transformation. The understanding of the existing and upcoming digital technologies, their potential, benefits, threats and pitfalls is essential to become an integral part of this transformation that is taking hold in the region.
Throughout the course, students will be able to:
- Explain the meaning of the fourth revolution.
- Understand the challenges of digital transformation for governments.
- Understand why the digital transformation is important in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC).
This course offers five digital badges associated to five learning paths: Fundamentals, Analytics, Mimicking the Brain, In the cloud and Immersive user experience.
There is also one extra digital badge when you complete all the learning paths available in the course.
The course aims to present modern tools for planning and managing development projects with social/environmental impact based on international best practices (PMI and Prince2). The program is intended for project teams, and therefore, registration must be done as a team, not individually.
The PM4R Professional course was designed and organized by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) as part of the Project Management for Results (PM4R) initiative, aimed at enhancing the project management competencies of teams composed of members from executing agencies and liaison bodies.
It is expected that this training will strengthen your project planning and management skills, as well as those of your team. The goal is to ensure that the programs under your responsibility are executed with a focus on results and considering identified risks through the application of proven project management practices and tools.
The course consists of 7 virtual weeks, comprising 5 learning modules. These modules are further divided into units, whose contents are reinforced by a series of individual and group activities that you will undertake with the support of a tutor.

- Demostrar un compromiso personal para lograr los objetivos del equipo.
